Convert to English?

I am just green with envy that you have a sidesaddle forum... and so sad because I cannot read it. Is there anyway for me to convert it to English?

I love riding aside. Started to ride about 16 months ago on my American Saddlebred Horse. I even started a blog about it :

but there are very few ladies who ride sidesaddle where I live.. so get most of my information from books and the internet.

I'm sorry but I think it's impossible to convert the whole forum to english
I mean, you can change the button (in your profil < preference < langue )
but all that is written by the members can't be converted automatically.

you will have to translate every discussing ...

maybe the other may have best ideas, but for the moment I just can propose to you to use the google translater,

I have been reading your blog for a while but I've always been too shy to post a comment . It's lovely to read about your progress week after week, and I think you are doing great showing your horses side saddle!

Oh my gosh - what a wonderful compliment!!! I often wondered if more people were reading the blog ...than who were posting. Sometimes I get discouraged if no one replies since it is time consuming to research different areas to keep it fresh. As you can see - I am still searching for new and interesting sidesaddle things!

I will see how far I can get with the translator though!

I know Texas is an enormous state: are you at the wrong end of it to make contact with "Texas Ladies Aside"?

Texas Ladies Aside is very close to me...but they ride Paso Fino horses that do not trot! I, on the other hand ride American Saddlebreds... which are about the biggest trotting horses on earth... and exactly what I need more instruction with...

Oh, I see! I didn't realise they only rode Paso Finos. I'd seen pictures of their displays but presumed they did other things as well.

Oh my goodness! That doesn't look very comfortable for side saddle!

Comfortable ...humm - maybe not so much...

At least the horse is used to the saddle being off the withers and further back!

I have a question. To ride your horse with a leg on each side, do you use à a special “” saddle, like I can see on the picture? To ride aside witch sort a sidesaddle do you use? Is an English sidesaddle suitable to the trot and the position of your horse?
Et comme je suis plutôt mauvaise en anglais, dans la langue de Molière ça donne.
Pour monter ton cheval à califourchon, utilise tu une selle spécialement adapter à cette monte, comme sur la photo. En amazone quel type de selle utilises-tu ? Une selle amazone classique est elle adapter aux allures et à la position de ton cheval ?

We use a cutback saddle - which not only frees up the withers and shoulders - but also seats the rider a bit further back. Lots LOT like a sidesaddle if you were to strip away the leather piece that lays under the riders right leg.

Meant to say that "It looks a LOT like the underside of a sidesaddle"

I currently own 2 sidesaddles. A Champion and Wilton (1890) and a Knoud - both have the cutback underside and sit in the same position on my horse as the astride saddle does.
